Here is a little bit about me. I hope I will answer most of any questions you may have about me. There are several links that will take you to different sites contained in this page. Each link should open a new window so you won't lose your place here. Enjoy. I was born in Saint Petersburg, Florida, January 1968. There I was raised and lived until after graduating from Pinellas Park Senior High in June 1987. After Graduation, June 22, 1987 I entered the Armed Forces. United States Air Force, Security Police (now called Security Forces) Law Enforcement. After spending two or so training weeks (yes I was luck to have to spend only two weeks) in basic, I moved to the other side of Lackland AFB, TX to the Security Police Training Academy where I spent the next couple of months learning how to be a cop. Upon graduating for the academy, My first duty assignment was Incirlick AB, Republic Of Turkey. Of course I took a little leave time and went home first. Had to show off the new me. Well if you knew me back then it wasn't really new, just for real. I had always wanted to go into the military. And be a police officer. What an opportunity for me then eh? I digress. As I was saying it was on to Incirlick, where for the next 15 months I traveled to different places in Turkey and Europe. Italy, Germany mostly with a few stops in other place along the way. Next I was off to Homestead AFB, FL. If your trying to keep track were up to Jan 1989. While at Homestead I traveled to Central America, Panama for 'Operation Just Cause'. For a little history lesson this little excursion started Dec 20, 1989. What a way to spend your holidays. It was scary yet exciting. I grew up in a big hurry during this time. The chance of dying tends to do that to you. So this is when I decided to take each day as it comes and not worry so much about what will happen tomorrow. It gave meaning to the phrase " Eat, drink and be merry today. For tomorrow we may die." Gives a person something to think about. After returning to Homestead, the summer of spring of 90, I got lucky :(not really) and was picked to go to Nevada to participate in Silver Flag Alpha. This is a desert warfare training center for the Security Police. Two weeks of hell. Well not really, but there were times I was beginning to rethink think this career move. Finally in late 1990, I got orders to go to Osan AB, South Korea. I spent one year there. Most of my time there was good. There were a few tense days though. By now operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm were going on. Some of the brass were worried that North Korea might take the opportunity to advance on the south while are attentions were focused on the Middle East. Fortunately this did not happen and I finished up my tour there and moved on to Edwards AFB, CA. Edwards. What can be said about Edwards. Not much. I met a few really good friends there, and If it weren't for them I would not be in Ohio right now. I'm still not sure if I should thank them at this point. Any way is spent 1991-1994 there until I left active service and signed up as a reservist with an assignment to Eglin AFB, FL. I'm not giving up almost 10 years time! So, I packed my bags and went home to Florida. Once home, and after a years time I was finally hired as a full time police officer with a small city in Pinellas county. From there I packed up the car and moved to Columbus, Ohio. I now work as a Corrections Officer with the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections. So, this is where I am today. Hope you found this interesting and fun.
